Quantity Surveyor - Industrial Construction
Responsibilities
* Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale industrial construction projects valued up to 100m.
* Preparing cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts across multiple UK sites.
* Working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
* Monitoring project costs, forecasting, and reporting on commercial performance.
* Supporting procurement activities and subcontractor management throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conducting regular site visits across the UK to oversee project progress and commercial compliance.
* Ensuring all commercial activities are carried out in line with company procedures and contractual requirements.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the industrial or commercial construction sector.
* Must have experience working for a main contractor on large-scale construction projects.
* Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial management processes.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across various UK sites.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
* Office-based in Solihull with flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
