Research Manager – Clinical Research Facility
The NIHR Moorfields Clinical Research Facility (‘CRF’) requires a Research Manager to join the Research Operations Team for a 12-month maternity cover.
Responsibilities
The role will involve delivering high quality administrative and study management support for the development and implementation of clinical trials and other research studies within Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Support clinical trial management, ensuring compliance with UK clinical trials regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements.
* Assist with trial set-up, monitoring and reporting.
* Coordinate research activities, maintain accurate documentation, and manage trial timelines.
* Work flexibly, organise workload, and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
* Apply strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to resolve issues that arise.
* Maintain excellent communication and organisational skills, and demonstrate high computer literacy.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Past experience in clinical research, ideally as a study or trial coordinator.
* Sound knowledge of current UK clinical trials regulations and GCP requirements.
* Strong problem‑solving, analytical skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* High level of computer literacy.
* Keen interest in the management of Clinical Research.
