Overview
We\'re seeking experienced Business Analysts to help drive forward the delivery of our current Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration projects ideally within the insurance or finance sector, working closely with the impacted business areas. We\'re looking for ambitious experts with a background in integrations, system migration, process mapping, and most of all outstanding stakeholder management skills. The role is 60% Business Analysis / 40% Technical. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced team, supporting key priorities around operational excellence, people and revenue growth. You will be given the breadth autonomy to take responsibility for delivery, will be challenged by the scale of the projects and can build an effective network to help with delivery.
Responsibilities
* Recognise and understand the business problem and primary objectives of new projects, challenging objectives and scope where necessary.
* Support operational improvements including removing waste and creating consistent ways of working.
* Build relationships with key partners, use a variety of techniques and methodologies to elicit and endorse requirements.
* Create functional requirements, coordinate walk-through and signoffs, ensure the models accurately match business needs.
* Document needs in a manner that supports efficient translation of these into solution requirements.
* Plan, design and deliver the handover of business processes to the functional owner for continued improvement.
* Design and support the management of User Acceptance Testing, providing input into resolution of any fixes.
* Support project rollout and handover.
* Be a self-starter, well organised, able to work independently on complex tasks and deliver high-quality results.
* Act as a champion for change within a fast-paced change environment.
About You
* Experience as a Business Analyst with a strong background in business processes and systems migrations.
* Formal Business Analysis qualification or membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
* Proficient knowledge of MS Office software including Visio.
* Experience using project tools such as Jira and DevOps.
* Experience in creating business process maps and wireframes.
* Requirements elicitation, fit/gap analysis and preparation of functional design documents.
* Experience identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
* Ability to manage and sustain key relationship networks within a project environment.
* Contribute to UAT planning and execution, ensuring business requirements are fully tested and met.
* Experience of working closely with Senior Stakeholders and executives.
* Ability to extract and synthesise learnings from a broad range of opportunities and sources.
* High attention to detail and comfortable handling large datasets.
* Experience of working in matrix teams across multiple offices, including third-party suppliers.
* Commercial and customer-minded; able to deliver analyses that result in customer- and outcome-focused solutions.
* Excellent mentoring skills.
* Some UK client site travel required.
