The role of Housing Officerwill include:
1. Delivering a high-quality housing management service to tenants, partners and key stakeholders
2. Ensuring arrears targets are met, and allocating void and new let properties
3. Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases
4. Completing estate management weekly inspections
5. Identifying shortfalls in service delivery and putting plans of resolution into place
6. Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff to ensure business needs are met
7. Ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements for all housing management activities
Skills and experiences:
8. Proven experience of undertaking a similar role within housing
9. Knowledge of relevant housing regulations and legislation
10. Proven experience of delivery high quality tenancy services
11. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to implement solutions
12. Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
13. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages is essential
14. SVQ3 in relevant area or equivalent qualification
15. Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
