As they expand, they seek a Head of Promotions to drive the strategic and financial success of their event portfolio, ensuring profitability, cultural relevance, and high demand.

The Role: Head of Promotions

This leadership role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of ticketed events, leading a team of promoters to drive revenue, audience growth, and brand positioning. It requires expertise in event curation, ticketing strategy, pricing, sponsorship, and multi-market expansion.

Experience:

* 10+ years in live event promotions, talent booking, or ticketing strategy, with a proven track record of scaling events profitably.
* Experience managing multi-city or international event portfolios.
* Ability to lead data-driven ticketing and pricing strategies.
* Strong industry relationships with talent agencies, ticketing platforms, and brands.
* Leadership experience managing high-performing teams across multiple locations.
* Financial acumen including P&L management and revenue optimization.
* Experience with major promoters like Live Nation, AEG, or leading independents.
* Understanding of sponsorship integration and brand activations.
* Experience expanding brands into new markets or launching festivals.
* Knowledge of global music trends and audience behaviors.

Success in this role means:

Key Responsibilities

* Owns the strategic vision for the event portfolio.
* Develops multi-year expansion strategies.
* Works with artist booking to secure suitable talent.
* Ensures a balanced event calendar across seasons and locations.

2. Ticketing & Pricing Strategy

* Develops dynamic pricing models and manages P&L.
* Collaborates with ticketing partners to optimize sales.
* Uses data analytics for pricing and promotional decisions.

3. Commercial & Sponsorship Integration

* Works with brand and sponsorship teams for seamless activation.
* Secures commercial partnerships.
* Develops marketing strategies aligned with ticketing and sponsorship goals.

4. Team & Industry Leadership

* Leads industry representation and thought leadership.
* Maintains understanding of market and consumer trends.
* Balances strategic vision with day-to-day operations.
* Uses analytics for decision-making.
* Negotiates with talent, venues, and partners.
* Plans market expansion and manages risks.
* Collaborates across departments for event excellence.
