We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that contribute to a welcoming and efficient dining experience.
Duties
* Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
* Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations to optimise guest flow.
* Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
* Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods, assisting with food preparation as needed.
* Participate in catering events when required, showcasing excellent hospitality skills.
Pay Rate NMW + TIPS
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of bartending practices is an advantage, including drink preparation and serving techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation is essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
* A proactive attitude towards helping others, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
