Managing and controlling the workload through the QC Cartridge area, being the primary contact for challenges relating to workflow. Supporting the Quality Control (QC) Cartridge Inspection team with first line product and process support in order to resolve issues and maintain the highest level of quality practices throughout the team. Providing training to new members of the team, managing their training plans to assessment phase. Providing administrative support where necessary, whilst assisting with the development of QC staff training programs and product contingency planning. Be involved in the new product development cycle, primarily engineering handover at the beta manufacturing stage. Leading initiatives to maintain and drive sustainable improvements in Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety policies. These responsibilities are in addition to the day to day responsibilities of a Test Technician. What we need from you… Experience working in a manufacturing environment with added experience in a team leader role, demonstrating leadership and team management skills. Proven problem-solver with hands-on experience in testing, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues. An understanding of fluid dynamics would be a plus, helping to deepen the team's technical expertise. Driven to challenge the status quo and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation. Skilled at building strong, collaborative relationships across teams to drive success and achieve shared goals. Self-motivated and highly organised, with a disciplined approach to managing tasks and staying focused on priorities. Proficient in IT tools like Microsoft Office and Google Suite, ensuring efficiency in everyday tasks and communication.
