The Role of an Assistant Reception Manager

Together with the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Reception Department. You will work with a dynamic Front Office team committed to providing the best service to our guests.

Your tasks include assisting with all Reception operations, liaising with teams to resolve customer feedback and requests promptly, ensuring efficient night coverage, and managing resource planning and recruitment for the front office team.

To succeed, you should be self-motivated with a positive attitude, have excellent attention to detail, and be committed to outstanding guest service. Ideally, you will have at least 1 year of experience in hotel front office operations, a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, and a drive to exceed guest expectations.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa is a luxurious 100-bedroom hotel housed in two Grade II Listed buildings with Georgian and Victorian façades. Located in the heart of Bath’s World Heritage Site, it offers a blend of historic charm and modern luxury.
