The Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) team is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the UK team, providing key financial support. There will be opportunities for some virtual or hybrid working depending on business needs. Boeing UK works closely with our customers to provide ongoing support and services to multiple public sector organizations for the UK government and MoD. This role offers the chance to work within a team spanning both current in-work and new contracts in a dynamic and growing environment with offices across the UK.
The individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily tasks and special projects, engaging with Programme Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and elements of the UK&I Finance & Commercial team such as Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis. Partnering with key contacts across the business to support Financial Operations for their assigned programmes is essential.

Responsibilities:
* Provide management with financial support and information for timely and accurate decision-making
* Support full cycle project accounting, from proposal development to contract closure
* Perform Estimates At Complete (EAC) in collaboration with Business Partners and cross-functional teams, and present reports to Senior Leadership
* Use Earned Value Management techniques to analyze monthly performance, identify cost variances, and support mitigation plans
* Extract data and prepare performance reports and variance analyses
* Manage financial forecasting processes quarterly and monthly
* Assess Risks and Opportunities, supporting operational teams to implement mitigation strategies
* Calculate programme performance metrics, including progress, remaining efforts, and impacts on Orders, Revenue, Earnings, and Cash
* Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to support business growth and financial strategy
* Ensure compliance and standardization across the Financial Analysis team
* Develop performance reporting metrics for programme leadership
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Experience as a Business Partner within an operations-facing finance team
* Self-starter with established reporting processes
* Prior experience with EVM tools like CSPR, COBRA, and Open Plan
* Strong team contributor with business acumen
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven ability to deliver results and focus on customer satisfaction
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
* Qualified Accountant with experience in Financial Operations using CSPR and EVM
