Housing and Support Assistant - Slough
Location: Slough
Contract: Full-time | Shift-based (includes evenings & weekends)
Salary: £13.94 p/h
Morgan Hunt is seeking a compassionate and proactive Housing Support Assistant to join our client at YMCA. This is a meaningful opportunity to support young and vulnerable individuals by providing day-to-day housing support, tenancy advice, and helping residents progress toward independent living.
What You'll Do:
* Welcome and assist residents, visitors, and contractors
* Log repairs, process rent payments, manage post and admin
* Conduct wellbeing and facilities checks
* Respond to incidents and anti-social behaviour
* Act as on-site Fire Marshal and First Aider
What We're Looking For:
* Excellent communication & customer service skills
* Calm, confident, and empathetic approach
* Basic IT skills and strong admin ability
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Essential Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce - issued in the last 12 months or registered on the Update Service)
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK
* Willingness to complete all required compliance documentation
Desirable:
* Experience in supported housing, social care, or community support
* First Aid and/or Fire Marshal training
