Technical Product Representative (EMEA Region)

Job Summary
Provide expert technical support to dealer and distributor representatives, ensuring timely resolution of product inquiries through phone, email, or on-site visits. Act as a liaison between the field and engineering teams by effectively communicating product issues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Lead training and development programs for the channel on Club Car and Garia products to enhance product knowledge and service capabilities. Analyze failure data and field feedback to support engineering, manufacturing, and support teams in driving product quality and performance improvements.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the technical training department to define the strategic vision for regional technical development and training.
* Assist in developing assessment tools and benchmarks to evaluate dealer skill sets.
* Work with engineering and technical teams on product improvement projects.
* Facilitate technical conferences and support translation of technical content (videos, troubleshooting guides, installation kits).
* Visit dealer and distributor facilities to assess technical capabilities, service quality, and maintenance practices.
* Conduct customer site visits for problem-solving, root cause analysis, and maintenance support.
* Act as a technical consultant and escalation point for complex dealer issues.
* Perform welcome calls for all new dealers/distributors and ensure onboarding support.
* Develop and publish annual training schedules for dealers and distributors in partnership with the training department.
* Support regional technical schools with training delivery and resources.
* Provide structured product feedback to engineering to drive continuous improvement.
* Investigate and resolve product quality or performance issues through the customer complaint system.
* Participate in product review meetings and contribute technical insights.
* Use connectivity tools to evaluate fleet health and support proactive maintenance.
* Analyze data to enhance product reliability and service effectiveness.
* Deliver technical support via phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Monitor and follow up on cross-departmental customer service cases.
* Communicate with Sales and CSM teams to support customer relationships and new sales opportunities.
* Proactively identify operational issues at customer sites and recommend corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate and clear documentation of all customer interactions.
Qualifications:
* Strong Club Car or related product knowledge and repair procedures.
* Moderate computer skills in Microsoft software programs, database programs, etc.
* Ability to communicate in a professional and technical manner both orally and in writing.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry, internal combustion engines.
* Ability to use, maintain, and repair testing equipment and hand tools.
* Ability to travel (50 ~ 70%)
