Are you passionate about books and skilled in both publicity and marketing? Our client, a leading non-fiction and literary fiction book publisher, is seeking a dynamic Publicity and Marketing Manager to join their team, working hybrid from the company's London office 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities include:
·Lead publicity campaigns, secure media coverage, and organise events
·Provide excellent author care and build relationships with media professionals
·Monitor media coverage and distribute updates
·Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and producers
·Execute marketing campaigns, manage social media, and foster relationships with booksellers
·Produce newsletters and research new marketing opportunities
·Represent them at events
·Submit books to awards
Skills and Experience sought:
·Proven experience in publicity and marketing, in book publishing, with a particular focus on PR
·Strong communication and relationship-building skills
·Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously
·Experience with social media management and influencer engagement
·Knowledge of the publishing industry and media landscape
Benefits:
·Salary of £35, - £38, depending on experience
·Flexible working arrangements with a central London office.
·35-hour work week (9am - 5pm).
