Props Charity Bristol is dedicated to empowering adults with learning disabilities by developing their work and social skills through meaningful, creative engagement. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Café Assistant to support the smooth running of our café and hospitality services at the Vassal Centre.
About the Role
As Café Assistant, you will be responsible for:
· Supporting the Café Manager in daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service.
· Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the café area, adhering to health and safety standards.
· Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels.
· Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
· Supporting trainees in café and hospitality activities in a person-centred environment.
· Taking on cafe responsibilities in the absence of the Café Manager.
· Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and safeguarding procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
· Experienced in café or hospitality operations.
· Passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities.
· Organised, proactive, and an excellent communicator.
· Able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Committed to promoting inclusion and trainee development.
