Plaintext Who You Are A qualified Property Lawyer, either a Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, with rights of audience in the County Court or aspiring to gain it. You are adaptable, possess a ‘can do’ positive attitude, and thrive in changing environments. You demonstrate excellent communication and advocacy skills, experience in both commercial and residential property work, and have knowledge of Housing law and Civil Court Procedures. What the Job Involves As a Property Lawyer in the Housing and Property Team, you will conduct complex and routine conveyancing work. You will manage sales to Council tenants, address easements, boundaries, and deal with objections related to Compulsory Purchase Orders. You will liaise with various parties to handle resettlement and compensation claims and assist in policy development. The role requires performing in courts and handling legal inquiries efficiently. A significant aspect includes participation in the Council's property disposal project. This is a hybrid position with 2 days a week preferred in-office presence.
