We are currently recruiting experiencedSenior Healthcare Assistantsto join our dedicated team, providing high standards of care across various healthcare settings in the North East.
About the Role:
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant with Pin Point Health and Social Care, you will play a vital role in supporting residents' wellbeing through compassionate care, medication administration, and leadership within your team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
Administering medication and maintaining accurate records
Acting as a key worker for a designated group of residents
Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and care teams
Maintaining the health, safety, and wellbeing of all service users
Assisting with domestic duties as required
Demonstrating a professional, flexible, and caring approach in every assignment
Liaising regularly with Home Managers and care staff to ensure continuity of care
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Essential)
Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a care home (Essential)
A transferable DBS certificate is desirable (not essential)
Ability to manage medication and care planning responsibilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, calm under pressure, and adaptable to different environments
Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high standards of care
Access to personal transport is desirable but not required
Willingness to work across multiple care settings depending on client needs
