Notification
In pursuance of Assam Govt. Notification No. MER. 206054/786 dated 07‑11‑2023 published in The Assam Gazette No. 509 dated 08‑11‑2023, this notice informs all concerned that candidates who pass out from institutions not affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) in Assam, as well as those from private universities or other eligible institutions outside the state, are required to sit for an Exit Examination conducted by SSUHS. Only candidates who pass this examination will be eligible for registration under the Assam Pharmacy Council.
Eligibility
* Diploma Pharmacy (D.Pharm) holders who have completed their course up to 31‑Dec‑2023 from colleges/institutes recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and affiliated to universities/examination authorities other than SSUHS.
* Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) holders who have completed their course up to 31‑Dec‑2023 from colleges/institutes recognized by PCI and affiliated to universities/examination authorities other than SSUHS.
Exam Details
* A single paper consisting of 100 objective‑type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) drawn from the PCI prescribed syllabus.
* Minimum qualification of 50% marks is required to pass. No relaxation of marks will be granted for reserved categories, including persons with disabilities (PwD).
• The examination will be held in the following Centres: Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, and Kokrajhar, depending on the number of applicants from each zone.
• Examination fee: Rs. 1500 (non‑refundable) per candidate.
Important Notice
Applicants must ensure all information provided in the application form is accurate. Any false or incorrect information will render the applicant liable to disqualification and legal proceedings. Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are not permitted in the examination premises.
