We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AAT- part qualified (or working towards) accounts person to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing and reconciling clients transactions/invoices using Xero
* VAT return preparation and submission
* Submitting CIS monthly returns
* Preparing accounts for sole traders and Ltd companies
* Supporting with ad-hoc tasks
About You - GCSE Maths and English. AAT Level 3 or Level 4 qualified (or currently studying towards)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
• Experience within an accountancy practice
• Working knowledge of VAT regulations
• Experience preparing management accounts.
