You will be supporting the Jointer (craftsman) with electrical installations/jointing for the business. Assist in coordination of electrical works to ensure full compliance with DNO & Ipsum Powers Policies and Procedures As a Cable Jointers Mate you will… The role is to support the cable jointer and the wider team in works delivery Supporting the work on sites and the public highway Have a good understanding of utility plans Assisting with the cable jointing Assistance with connections to substations Preparation and correct use of tools and machinery Carry out works in line with established safety procedures. Supporting the completion of risk assessments and maintain safe working practice and maintaining accurate records About you… Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card DNO Operational Authorisation (SPEN & SPENW, preferred) A good understanding of sustainability and health and safety. Be conversant with testing procedures. Full Driving Licence is essential as you will be required to travel and work in different locations.
