Job responsibilities
We are actively seeking an experienced, resilient, and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the team.
Cygnet Paddocks offers a treatment, care, and rehabilitation pathway designed to meet the complex needs of service users, particularly those affected by an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), with a focus on adult males.
The role involves working 42 hours per week, including shifts on a rota that comprises 6 weeks of day shifts and 4 weeks of night shifts. Weekly shifts are scheduled as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday one week; Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday the next. Shift hours are 8am - 8:30pm and 8pm - 8:30am.
Responsibilities include supporting the Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation Pathway, producing detailed reports, working with the management team to improve service quality, engaging in CPD, and ensuring care plans are complete and maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines.

* Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments & observations
* Work closely with management to develop and improve the service
* Attend training and CPD activities
* Ensure care plans are complete and maintained in collaboration with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals
* Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and guidelines

You
To succeed, you'll have:
* A current Pin Number and the ability to maintain documentation and undertake audits
* A good understanding of current nursing practices
* A commitment to patient recovery, risk management, and safety
* Compassion, resilience, and dedication to supporting service user independence
* At least 2 years of Mental Health Nursing experience
* The ability to deputise as a clinical lead
* An interest in leadership, research, and assessment
