Responsibilities
:
1. Line Management responsibility for Solution Architects within the Engineering home.
2. Provide encouragement, guidance, coaching and mentoring to members of the team
3. Leads the development of architectures forplex solutions ensuring consistency with agreed requirements.
4. Establishes policies, principles and practices for the selection of solution architectureponents.
5. Manages trade-offs and balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organisation.municates proposed decisions to stakeholders.
6. Coordinates and manages the target architecture across multiple projects or initiatives.
7. Maintains a stable, viable architecture and ensures consistency of design and adherence to appropriate standards across multiple projects or initiatives.
8. Lead and promote engineering excellence and quality through appropriate use of analysis tools, control gates and peer reviews by inculcating news ways of thinking to improve design, productivity, and quality
9. Responsible for and above all advocate for the reduction in technical debt across the estate and mission, working alongside Product to ensure the reduction of technical debt is prioritised appropriately
10. Foster and maintain the relationship with central EQ functions ( risk management,pliance, InfoSec etc) and ensure any corrective actions are raised with Product for timely execution
11. Mentor and guide Solution Architects within your team and assist with technical challenges as needed
12. Infuse a sense of ownership & pride amongst team members to deliver high quality work and Institute a self-directed and high-performance culture in the team
Experience of engineering analysis, design and architecture for a Product led organisation and experience of having led conceptualization and development of a portfolio of products
