Post No. POSN005069 - Family worker Children & Young People Services Working days - Tuesday, Thursday & Friday The Cwtch Centre offers family sessions supervised by family workers. These contact sessions could take place Monday to Friday between 9am and 8pm Job Purpose To provide a high quality service in relation to children and families that attend the Cwtch centre, and/or who have supervised family time facilitated by the Cwtch centre. Family workers supervise family time sessions and record their observations for the social workers to access via WCCIS and are also submitted to court. They also where required transport some children to their family sessions. Staff hold family time agreement meetings and regular reviews as part of the service delivery with other stakeholders such as Social workers and also attend professional meetings such as Conferences, core groups and LAC reviews. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
