We are seeking a dedicated KS1 & KS2 Class Teacher to join our dynamic primary school team in Ripon. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic and personal development of our students. With standard hours from 8:30 to 03:30, Monday to Friday, this role provides a conducive work-life balance.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in both KS1 and KS2, using creative and interactive teaching methods to inspire curiosity and foster a lifelong love for learning.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
3. Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of all students, providing appropriate challenges and support as required.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of each student, addressing their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
5. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their learning journey, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for growth.
6. Uphold high standards of professionalism and conduct, serving as a positive role model for students and colleagues alike.
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
8. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) are welcome to apply.
9. Ability to inspire and engage students through creative and interactive teaching methods.
10. Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service, or willingness to apply for one, is essential.
11. Team Teach training is desired but not essential, as training can be provided.
