As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business across the North of England — managing existing key accounts and developing new commercial opportunities within their target markets.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll take ownership of a defined territory, developing and executing a sales strategy that strengthens market presence and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers across the North of England.
* Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities in core and adjacent sectors.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, production, logistics) to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to inform strategy.
* Deliver agreed sales, volume, and margin targets through effective account management.
* Represent the company professionally at industry events and customer meetings.
About You
You’ll be a commercially driven salesperson with a strong understanding of the speciality chemicals sector — ideally with experience in surfactants, ingredients, or chemical distribution.
We’re looking for:
* Proven track record in B2B sales within chemicals, ingredients, or related industries.
* Confident managing technical discussions with R&D, procurement, and production teams.
* Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and territory management skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in the field.
* Based in the North of England and open to regular travel across the region.
