An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Business Partnering Team at Sheffield Childrens NHS Foundation Trust as a fixed-term HR Advisor.
We are looking for a compassionate and accountable individual who treats colleagues, patients and service users with respect, and who is committed to delivering excellence in everything they do. As a key member of the Business Partnering HR Team, you will provide high-quality advice and support to colleagues across the Trust, contributing to a proactive, solution-focused HR service. This role offers a combination of home and on-site working, providing flexibility while maintaining strong connections with the team and services across the Trust.
About You
You have proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
You provide compassionate, person-centred and risk-based HR advice.
You are confident supporting managers with a wide range of employee relations matters.
You use sound judgement and a balanced, empathetic approach when resolving issues.
You demonstrate the Trust values in everything you do.

Reporting into the HR Manager, of your responsibilities will include:
You will provide day-to-day operational HR advice that is compassionate, person-centred and risk-based ensuring alignment with NHS requirements, national guidelines and employment law.
You will advise line managers during manager-led sickness surgeries and attend selected attendance meetings.
You will provide HR advice and support across a range of employee relations matters, including conduct, grievance and other casework.
You will contribute to a proactive, solution-focused HR service within the Business Partnering Team.
