An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team, across our 3 branches. This is a busy and demanding role in which you will be required to welcome our clients and their pets to the surgery, deal with enquiries both on the telephone and face to face, take payments, use, and update our electronic diary system, handle medication and carry out varied admin tasks. Join a team you are proud to be a part of Currently, our team consists of 9 Veterinary Surgeons supported by 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 1 Kennel Assistant, a Client Care Manager and a supportive front-of-house team. The perfect fit The successful candidate will ideally need to have experience within the veterinary profession or a similar customer care role with a passion for animals and excellent customer service skills as well as computer literacy and being able to cope well under pressure. This is a multi-site role, so you will be working across our three branches, Ashford, Hythe and New Romney. A driving licence and car is essential. Working pattern Our full-time position is for 40 hours a week on a four-week rota, which will include one Saturday in 4. Hours will range between Monday-Friday 8 am and 8 pm. We also require flexibility to cover other days for holiday & sickness cover.
