Overview
Cloud Engineer - ELK SME contract role. 6 months. Edinburgh/Glasgow - hybrid. £700 per day inside IR35 - Umbrella only.
Responsibilities
* Design, maintenance and management of Elastic stacks (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
* Configure and maintain large Elastic clusters
* Work with large data sets and implement elastic indexing best practices
* Understand visualization components and techniques in Elasticsearch
* Performance management and tuning of Elasticsearch environment
* Write data ingestion pipelines using Logstash and other tools
Required Skills
* 5 Years UK Residency - BPSS and OPSEC
* The ELK (Elastic Logstash & Kibana) SME extension of Cloud Engineering role with additional 2 years of ELK SME experience
* Professional experience in design, maintenance and management of Elastic stacks
* Experience configuring and maintaining large Elastic clusters
* Experience with large data sets and indexing best practices
* Good understanding of visualization components and techniques in Elasticsearch
* Proven experience in performance management and tuning
* Strong experience writing data ingestion pipelines using Logstash and related tools
