Audit Semi Senior | Oxfordshire | £38,000 £45,000 Are you an Audit Semi Senior looking to take the next step in your practice career? This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in audits from planning through to completion, wants greater responsibility, and is keen to progress towards Senior and Manager level in a supportive, professional environment. The Role Youll work as part of a collaborative audit team, supporting the delivery of high-quality audit assignments across a range of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, corporates, and not-for-profit organisations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with audit planning and fieldwork across multiple engagements
* Performing audit testing and preparing working papers
* Drafting statutory accounts under UK GAAP
* Supporting audit seniors and managers on-site and remotely
* Liaising with clients during audits and responding to queries
* Identifying potential risk areas and escalating findings appropriately
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
What Youll Bring
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in external audit within UK practice
* Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
* Confident communicator with developing client-facing skills
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
* Willingness to learn, progress, and take on increased responsibility
