Job summary
My Client is recruiting for a Process Commissioning Engineer in the Water Sector.

Water Sector Experience
The role involves leading the wet and process commissioning phase of water treatment projects, including hydraulic testing, equipment configuration, functional testing, fault finding, process optimization, and supporting installation and subcontractor supervision. The engineer will also perform process audits, provide technical support and training, and assist in process design documentation during downtime. The primary products are ballasted clarification systems for wastewater treatment, with potential for portfolio expansion.
Role Delivery:
* Lead site-based wet and process commissioning activities with strong wastewater process knowledge.
* Provide technical support across company products and systems.
* Ensure mechanical and electrical installations meet engineering standards.
* Maintain environmental and H&S standards, including risk assessments and site compliance.
* Act as the company's representative on customer sites, building relationships.
* Complete site records and reports timely.
* Train operational staff and provide feedback for design improvements.
* Review process and engineering documents for commissioning suitability.
* Operate and maintain pilot plants, producing trial reports.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Degree in Process Engineering/Science or equivalent.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad, including weekly travel and short overseas trips.
* Ability to interpret drawings and maintain documentation.
* Experience in fault finding, commissioning, and maintenance of wastewater systems.
* Familiarity with PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and H&S training.
* Valid UK driving license; EUSR Wastewater and CSCS cards preferred.
