Closing Date for Application: Sunday 24/08/2025 The Operational Training Instructor will play a key role in building a confident, competent and flexible workforce by delivering consistent, hands-on, and role-specific training to shop floor colleagues. This role strengthens our operational capability, supports faster onboarding, and reinforces safety and compliance through daily presence and coaching. Key Responsibilities: Deliver on-the-job training across operational departments, ensuring clarity, consistency, and confidence in task execution. Support new starters through tailored onboarding, practical instruction, and real-time feedback. Provide clear, visual, and repeated instruction where language may be a barrier. Reinforce safety and compliance behaviours, including manual handling and health & safety protocols. Create and maintain a live training matrix and individual development trackers. Update workday with accurate training records to ensure real-time visibility of progress & compliance. (Training will be provided) Create structured learning content within the adapt platform, aligned with operational needs.(Training will be provided) Facilitate cross-training to support greater flexibility and resilience in resourcing. Identify training gaps and work collaboratively with line managers to address skill needs. Offer ongoing support, encouragement and constructive feedback to help individuals grow. Capabilities required Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (ideally plastics or similar) A natural ability to support, coach, and encourage others, even it not formally trained.
