FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Software Engineer to work for our client within the retail sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Responsibilities
1. Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured Java code that improves experiences for customers and colleagues
2. Build and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines to deploy into cloud environments
3. Design and implement a full range of automated tests (unit, integration, performance, security, chaos)
4. Work in agile teams using Scrum, pairing, and mobbing practices to continuously discover, design, and deliver quality solutions
5. Contribute to architectural decisions and the design of scalable, resilient systems
6. Monitor and visualise your product’s behaviour in live production environments
