We are currently recruiting passionate and skilled Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teachers for a number of primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley. If you’re an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT looking to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Sheffield & Barnsley
Role: KS1 Class Teacher
Start Date: September 2025 (earlier starts available)
⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term with permanent opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons to KS1 pupils
* Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
* Work effectively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents
* Contribute to wider school life and learning culture

✅ Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Good knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
