Job Title: Supply Chain Manager – Cost & Reporting

Salary: £56,000 + depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and managing a team of professional Supply Chain Staff and Managers in the delivery of the Supply Chain Function Reporting & Costbase, specifically in support of the area / portfolio that has been assigned to the individual
* Proactively manage & resolve Reporting & Costbase issues ensuring Root Cause Analysis has been undertaken and Impacted against any neighbouring processes
* Providing strategic direction / vision in all areas of responsibility in Reporting & Costbase to achieve business objectives in line with corporate requirements
* Supporting the delivery of the product by ensuring that direct reports have purpose and clarity and are empowered to meet key delivery targets on time and within budget
* Actively promoting cross business unit and functional working in order to augment and achieve key knowledge transfer and promote best working practices across the business
* Leading/developing/coaching and mentoring of aspiring leaders within the Supply Chain Team
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Financial or Project control Background
* Experience in Business Management
* Management, Leadership and Business Executive skills
Desirable:
* APMQ/CIMA Qualification would be advantageous
* Supply chain end to end Process Awareness

The Supply Chain team:
As a Senior Supply Chain Manager at BAE Systems, you will play a key element in the Supply Chain function enabling a portfolio of projects, leading, enabling & empowering the team to deliver our key programmes through integrated management and development of People, Process, Toolsets & Reporting. This is a Fast paced, commercial procurement environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver part of the UK’s National Defence Programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
