Position: Food Coordinator/Cook
Status: Part time – 20 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Responsibilities
* Prepare nutritious meals for children in accordance with the ‘Staying Healthy’ guidelines.
* Create menus that cater to various cultural and dietary needs.
* Ensure all food safety standards are met during preparation and service.
* Manage food budget effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in food preparation, preferably in a childcare or similar setting.
* Knowledge of food safety standards.
* Ability to work with diverse dietary requirements.

About the role
You will be the heart of the center, where good food prepared by someone who truly cares makes all the difference. In this role, you will create menus based on the ‘Staying Healthy’ guidelines, provide adequate and nutritious meals for children, and ensure that everything is done within budget. Working with a range of different cultures and dietary needs is essential, making this position vital to the service as it ensures essential nutrition for the children.
