Binnies, part of the RSK Group, are looking for experienced and competent Safety & Risk Consultant to work within the Southwest of England. Becoming an essential member of our Safety & Risk Team, you will have the opportunity to assist a valued and longstanding client to deliver exciting and diverse flood and coastal projects. You will work as the technical lead for the region and resource a team who discharge the duties of principal designer and CDM advisor on a varied portfolio of schemes. About the Role
* You will manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants who work across the Southwest region
* You will work closely with internal stakeholders within the client organisation, their Project Managers and also work closely with their Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team and external deliver partners
* Projects will range from feasibility studies, through outline & detailed design and construction on site
* It will be important to ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental and health & safety requirements
Essential Requirements:
* Chartered Safety Professional
* Relevant degree or diploma
* Sound working knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable Requirements
* Excellent report writing skills
* A proactive approach with an ambition to innovate
* The ability to work away from the office location for short periods
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and excellent record keeping
