Brief Description
WV12 4HA. This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
Responsibilities
* Engage with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services
* Give advice on medication and health matters
* Perform housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment
* Assist in delivering a variety of public health services
Qualifications
* GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent
* Maths and English desired but not essential (can be provided as part of the course)
Training & Future Prospects
* Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required
* Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship
* Gain experience in retail
* Learn about over-the-counter medicines
* Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
* Order pharmaceutical stock
* Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
* Assist with minor ailments
