Installation Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Fitter required to join a leading pump manufacturer.
The successful Installation Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Fitter will provide support installations of pumping station equipment to a high standard in line with the supplied drawings at customer sites, supporting a service team when required, based in Chelmsford.
The Installation Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Fitter will ideally have installation experience on mechanical products, such as filtration, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pump systems, motors, compressed air, or rotating equipment. Full product training provided.

Be responsible for supporting lead engineers on installations of pumping station equipment to a high standard in line with supplied drawings.
To support mechanical repair, service, and commissioning of industrial pumps, pipework, and ancillary.
equipment at customer sites UK-wide.
To support investigations and rectify site issues identified during routine and emergency attendances to customers' sites.
Support and step up when the lead engineer is absent.
Support and perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pumping equipment.
Assist in installing all types of pumps and associated pipework, and ancillary equipment.
Product training will be provided and will be provided throughout.
Field-based position across Chelmsford.
Liaise with various engineering departments.Installation Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Fitter Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills in complicated mechanical engineering pump systems. and / or Sewage pumps are beneficial
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, fitter, fitter’s mate, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer or similar.
Installation experience on mechanical products, such as filtration, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pump systems, motors, compressed air, and rotating equipment is advantageous.
A mechanical engineering qualification, degree, apprentice trained, or similar is advantageous.
Full UK driver's license.
