Machine Operator
North Somerset
Full-time, Shift Rotation
A leading global engineering manufacturer based in North Somerset are seeking a number of CNC Operators to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established, high-performance manufacturing environment supporting the aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and support manufacturing processes to meet production requirements
* Work to stringent aerospace quality standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices
* Maintain and promote Health & Safety procedures at all times
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Hands-on experience with machine operations such as milling, turning, or CNC
* Strong understanding of tolerances, torque, and measurements
* Proven ability to work to local quality standards and standardised work procedures
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Material Flow)
* Awareness of Health & Safety practices
* Reliable, methodical, and safety-conscious work ethic
