Teaching careers in HMC independent schools
We are currently seeking to fill the position of Site Assistant.
The Site Assistant will work closely with the Site Team to maintain the school buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe, secure, and attractive environment for pupils and staff. The school features historic grounds, including a 200-year-old Castle building and the old vicarage, Glyn House, located on Church Street, as well as the prominent Chessington Lodge and a new 6th form facility. Although based at the Senior School, the role covers all four sites in Ewell Village.
Ideal candidates will have experience in maintenance or possess relevant transferable skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with carrying out varied maintenance tasks and good communication skills, are essential.
The working hours follow a rota pattern, with regular shifts from 07:00 - 15:00, 10:00 - 18:00, and 12:00 - 22:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required. The holiday entitlement is 25 days plus Bank Holidays. Attendance at school events and occasional Saturday lettings are also expected.
