About the role
The Apprenticeship Directorate is seeking a qualified and experienced Trainer/Assessor in Carpentry and Joinery. This role involves working with Level 2 and Level 3 apprentices and their employers, conducting progress reviews, training, and assessing competency elements of the apprenticeship. The main point of contact for apprentices and employers, the successful candidate should be driven, enthusiastic, and possess excellent interpersonal, IT, and organizational skills. The role requires mobility throughout the northeast region, as it involves traveling to employer premises and working across college sites.

Applicants should hold vocational and teaching qualifications and have a proven record of training and assessing Carpentry and Joinery apprentices.
