Job Description
The Commercial Manager will be:-

Playing a pivotal role within the Future Products team, operating at both strategic and tactical levels to create fit-for-purpose commercial models and guidance across a diverse portfolio of campaigns and programmes.
*
Leading complex negotiations, crafting competitive pricing and business-winning strategies, and securing approvals up to senior board level.
*
Providing hands-on leadership in resolving challenging commercial and contractual matters, ensuring risks and opportunities are balanced effectively.
*
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, external customers, and stakeholders at all levels.
*
Helping shape and develop the wider Commercial function across both the maritime and land defence business areas, contributing to long-term growth and capability.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Commercial Manager will have a:-

Proven track record in senior commercial roles within the military or defence sector.

Strong grasp of commercial principles, techniques, and practices, and how they underpin organisational success.

Solid understanding of contract law, defence conditions, and the ability to negotiate terms effectively.

Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative environment, engaging with diverse teams.
