About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Specialist to join their Commercial Team on a 60-week fixed-term contract.
You’ll play a key role in:
* Managing commercial aspects of site operational activities
* Supporting the site capex programme
* Providing commercial input into new business opportunities when required
* Supporting the facilities team when required
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree (or equivalent) in Law, Quantity Surveying or Business
* NEC4 contract knowledge (essential)
* Experience with MoD & SSRO contracts (desirable)
* Background in civil infrastructure projects (advantageous)
* Must hold (or be eligible to obtain) Security Check (SC) clearance
Responsibilities
* Manage & renegotiate site infrastructure contracts
* Support Facilities team with supplier tenders & negotiations
* Collaborate with project, legal, finance, commercial, and operations teams
* Manage change in line with contractual requirements
* Ensure compliance with governance processes
* Produce weekly/monthly commercial reports
* Chair weekly commercial meetings with the client
* Provide commercial input into project risk registers
* Maintain strong client relationships on-site
* Provide support to the wider commercial team when required
