A well-respected, long-established automotive retail group with dealerships across South Wales and the South West of England are seeking a SERVICE ADVISOR to join their modern facility at Cribbs Causeway.

About the role
The Service Advisor is the welcoming, helpful point of contact for customers booking in service and repair work—keeping them updated, explaining what’s needed in plain easy to understand detail, whilst making the whole experience as smooth as possible.
Key responsibilities
* Booking vehicles in, answering queries and keeping customers updated.
* Liaising closely with the workshop team to plan and progress jobs.
* Preparing job cards, completing related administration and invoicing.
* Explaining faults and recommendations clearly, agreeing next steps.
* Presenting and upselling approved products and services.
* Ensuring customer and vehicle records are accurately maintained and up to date.
Candidate requirements
* Established face-to-face customer services experience, ideally within the automotive industry.
* Great people skills and a genuine desire to help.
* Comfortable using IT systems for bookings, job management and invoicing.
* Organised, proactive and able to identify priorities.
* Confident explaining technical information in a clear, customer-friendly way.
* Full UK driving licence without excessive penalty points (essential).
Key information
* Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm (1-hour lunch).
* Saturday rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am to 2:00pm, paid as overtime.
