The role
The Coordinator will play a vital role within the Building Remediation Team, supporting the delivery of comprehensive investigations and resolutions for buildings where major defects have been identified. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that all stages of the remediation process are well-documented, well-coordinated, and delivered in line with project requirements and organisational policy and procedures.
This role is part of Property where you'll help us to lead the way investing and maintaining 46,000 homes.
This role can either be based from our Stratford Upon Avon office, or Maidstone, but may require travel to different sites for meeting purposes.
What you'll achieve
Case Management: Support the end-to-end management of remediation cases for buildings/assets, from initial identification of defects through to resolution and closure
Remediation Support: Assist in formulating proposed resolutions in collaboration with technical teams and legal representatives, supporting project leads in driving forward decision-making processes
Customer Communication: Coordinate clear, consistent, and timely communication with customers throughout the investigation and remediation process, ensuring transparency and managing expectations
Payment and Financial Administration: Support the processing of contractor and consultant payments, ensuring all documentation is complete, approvals are in place, and records are kept up to date
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of remediation processes and tools, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improved service deliveryWhat you'll bring
Essential skills
Strong coordination and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Basic knowledge of housing, property management, or construction terminology.
Familiarity with project life cycles, particularly defect management or resolution.
Experience supporting projects or programmes in a structured environment
Proven experience in coordinating meetings, maintaining trackers, and drafting communications
Communicates effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders, adapting style as needed
Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and builds positive working relationships
Maintains a strong customer focus, ensuring customers and stakeholders are kept informed and supportedDesirable skills
Experience working in housing, property, construction, or legal environments is desirable
