Experienced care assistant wanted for a residential home in Torfaen. We are looking for a compassionate care assistant who has experience working with the elderly, who has a talent for giving gentle care with an understanding of disabilities such as dementia. Training in practical manual handling is preferred, but theory is accepted in the exception of adequate experience. We offer you support and flexible hours to suit you! If you have a passion for giving love and care to others, and want the freedom of choosing when you work, then this is the job for you!
The role includes;
· Personal care
· Care for individuals with disabilities
· Support with the staff and general running of the care home
· Helping with meals
· Administering medication
· Activities with the residents
· Weekly updates of your availability
