Our client is currently recruiting an M&E Consultant to join a client-focused team within their Built Asset Consultancy, working across sectors such as healthcare, retail, commercial offices, and education. Location is flexible; the successful candidate will be based at one of our local offices.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive M&E Consultant experienced in producing M&E reports and proficient in identifying M&E assets and systems. The role involves providing advice to the team on project delivery and condition surveys, including element capture, verification, lifecycle analysis, and report writing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Undertaking M&E surveys and condition assessments
* Pre-acquisition surveys
* Dilapidation surveys
* Developing 10-year PPM schedules
* Monitoring M&E works on-site and reporting on conformity and quality
* Carrying out duties efficiently according to established processes and procedures
* Adhering to commercial, procurement, and contractual strategies
* Complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards
* Advising and liaising with internal project and cost control teams
Experience & Qualifications:
* Ideally a Building Services degree
* Recognised M&E qualification
* Chartered status or willingness to obtain MCIBSE (or equivalent)
* Experience in a similar role, FM, or site engineering background
* Technical due diligence experience
This is a national role, allowing remote work from anywhere within the UK with a hybrid working arrangement.
