Assoc CIPD Head of People & Culture at Mixergy
Mixergy has recently secured funding for our next phase of growth and we are seeking a Business Development Manager for the South West region responsible for the achievement of targets for new business and business development across the new build, social housing retrofit and other specification sales sectors. As our new BDM you will contribute towards realisation of our vision of ‘a world where our technology is at the forefront of sustainable living for everyone’. You will be a key member of the team achieving our strategic objectives and ambitious growth plans.
Responsibilities
* Deliver profit and growth in line with or exceeding targets
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Develop and grow existing business
* Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, working with the commercial team to deliver on the sales strategy
* Identify and convert opportunities from a variety of channels and sources
* Significantly increase awareness of our clean technology and sustainability solutions
* Ensure accurate data and reporting
* Ensure regulatory compliance, ethical practice and a positive brand reputation
* Model Mixergy values (innovation, collaboration, care, ownership, agility, customer focus) and contribute to a positive, creative and professional company culture
* Nurture and develop a positive customer experience
* Act as a brand ambassador and promote Mixergy within the sector
Qualifications
* Clean driving licence and own car
* Commercial awareness and competence
* Minimum 1 year experience in specification sales to the new build and social housing sectors
* Specialist sector expertise – deep understanding of specification sales process and able to align Mixergy USP’s with customer objectives
* Proven experience or expertise in clean tech solutions for home energy management
* Excellent skill in sales including lead generation, targeting, pitching and converting
* Contributes to a positive company culture
* Sales Force system competence – able to manage opportunities, purchase orders, sales orders, pipeline and reporting
* Self-motivated to achieve both individual and common goals
* Able to work collaboratively across teams and departments to achieve targets
