We are a forward-thinking clinic delivering high-end assessment, rehabilitation, and long-term exercise-based care for Bristol’s active community, from young athletes and climbers to middle-aged sportspeople and older individuals managing joint pain, surgery, and physical wellbeing.
With clinics established across Bristol and the wider area, including Backwell, and further growth planned, this is an exciting opportunity to join Rise at a formative stage and help shape how exceptional MSK care is delivered.
The Role
This is a key role for a motivated and clinically excellent physiotherapist who holds themselves to a high standard and consistently asks, “How can I do better for this patient?”
You will work autonomously while being fully supported by a collaborative, specialist team. You will value thorough assessment, coach clients in their rehabilitation, and deliver measurable outcomes, rather than quick fixes.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop professionally, work with a highly active caseload, and contribute to shaping the growth of the clinic.
Role type: Part-time (initially evenings)

Remuneration: Competitive, aligned with NHS Agenda for Change Band 6 equivalent
What We’re Looking For
Essential
BSc Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
HCPC registration & CSP membership.
Minimum 3 years post-graduate MSK experience (Band 6 equivalent).
Private practice experience.
Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and manual therapy skills.
Confidence delivering coached, gym-based rehab.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
High-standard IT/admin skills (Gmail, Excel, Google Drive).
Right to work in the UK & Enhanced DBS.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable
Pilates training
Sports massage qualification
Strength & Conditioning experience
Shockwave therapy experience
Therapeutic injection qualification
What You’ll Do
Deliver expert MSK assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across a range of conditions.
Confidently identify red flags and non-MSK pathology.
Manage complex and varied caseloads with autonomy and confidence.
Design and coach high-quality rehabilitation programmes, with the option for gym-based guided rehab, while integrating manual therapy, shockwave therapy, and S&C principles.
Use objective testing to guide decision-making and progression.
Liaise internally for ultrasound, injections, or specialist input when appropriate.
Provide patients with: Clear explanations. Written summaries of assessments. Defined rehab goals and plans. Respond to patient queries professionally.
Actively contribute to service development and clinic growth.
Support diary growth through excellent care, feedback, and client advocacy.
Manage your caseload efficiently while maintaining exceptional clinical standards.
Collaborate with referrers, coaches, other clinicians, and the wider sports community.
