About the Role:
New opportunity for a Documentation Legal Advisor to join a global risk manager to assist the legal team on a regulatory project on a fixed-term basis of 6-12 months.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
* Reviewing third-party agreements, outsourcing agreements and other legal documentation for accuracy and compliance and taking into account relevant laws and regulations.
* Preparing and drafting a wide range of legal documents, including IT agreements, contracts, pleadings, and other legal forms.
* Organising and maintaining legal records and database, ensuring they are accessible and up-to-date.
* Utilising software to manage large volumes of documents and track changes.
* Use existing templates in line with the company's best practice.
* Giving updates on the status of outstanding issues as necessary.
* Arranging for new agreements to be issued if existing agreements expire.
* Dealing directly with counterparties to agree on agreement terms.
* Researching legal materials to facilitate the completion of duties.
* Maintaining knowledge of current and impending regulations.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Legal degree or similar qualification.
* At least 2 years of demonstrable relevant work experience.
* Experience gained in a regulated environment is preferred for this position.
* A team player, with good attention to detail, able to work under pressure, prioritise and respond to deadlines.
* Good organisational skills.
* Good stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to communicate and build working relationships both internally and externally.
