Strategic Partnerships Manager
37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday
£48-£50,000 per annum
The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world's oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring.
We are recruiting for a Strategic Partnerships Manager. The successful candidate will set direction for The Club’s commercial partnership strategic. This includes identifying and negotiating new partnerships and leading the development of the annual marketing plans, utilising joint marketing funds, to achieve the commercial targets. They oversee the day to day-to-day management of The Club’s strategic partnerships, verifying that all parties fully adhere to their contracted service levels and commission agreements. This position is crucial for future expansion by leading the onboarding of potential new partnerships, including those within new member products and services. They are accountable for the budgeted sales to be generated from all partnerships.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include:
* Lead on developing and delivering The Club’s strategic partnership strategy including negotiations and deal structures for renewals and onboarding new partners.
* Develop and manage relationships with strategic commercial partners, including The Club’s chosen provider of the Club’s insurance offering and breakdown provision.
* Monitor and critically analyse partner performance through data, produce comprehensive reports and manage budget forecasting with monthly KPI tracking.
* Responsible for effective contract management, ensuring contracts are up to date and hold the partnerships to account.
* Develop and implement an annual Marketing Plan for each strategic partnership, and overseas product provider.
* Develop and maintain an engagement framework to effectively manage, collaborate and hold to account strategic partners.
* Assist Head of External Communications, Partnerships & Product in developing commercial partnerships ongoing strategy.
* Manage the budget line for strategic partnerships. Setting the forecast commission and ensure that plans are in place which achieve agreed target based on collaborative decisions on policy sales and retention.
* To support in achieving the overall commission targets as agreed.
* Work closely with the Research Insight Team and Revenue & Pricing Insight Team to identify customer needs and review analytics to explore opportunities with new partnerships that will benefit members and the Club.
* Support departmental managers raising the profile of strategic partnerships and their importance to the Club’s commercial model.
* Identify opportunities for potential new partnerships e.g., suppliers, white-label providers, to generate further services and income for members.
We are looking for the following in applications:
* GCSE/Level 2 equivalent in English and Maths.
* Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a business or economics, or equivalent experience in a Strategic Partnership role.
* Significant experience in managing and developing third party relationships and commercial services.
* Experience in working collaboratively to deliver services and products.
