Provide engineering support for pre-Final Investment Decision (FID) capital projects and the operating assets including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and front-end engineering design (FEED). Ensure the seamless integration of engineering processes throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design through to operations. Collaborate closely with project teams, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects that are recommended for FID align with business objectives. Identify potential risks and opportunities in engineering design and propose mitigation strategies. Oversee engineering support for operational assets, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and optimization of existing facilities. Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to provide support to troubleshoot engineering issues, propose solutions, and implement changes that enhance asset performance. Ensure that engineering modifications and upgrades to operating assets comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise to stakeholders to inform decision-making and ensure alignment with project goals and operational requirements. Facilitate effective communication between internal/ external stakeholder to ensure all business objectives are identified and evaluated. Develop and manage the engineering support budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support project and operational needs. Monitor project costs and resource utilization, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering support team. Ensure the team is adequately staffed with skilled engineers to meet the needs of pre-FID projects and operating assets. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a technically related discipline, and 15 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any combination of oil & gas, petrochemical or LNG industry, of which 4 years must be in a management position. Must have 4 years of experience managing large-scale facilities, including diverse plant operations, technologies, storage, and transportation. Must have 5 years of experience in LNG Liquefaction. Must have 3 years of experience with performance and risk management systems and tools, which must include: Management of Change (MOC) for assessing the impact of a change on plant operations, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for assessing process safety risk, and Process Simulation tools for process optimization in design and operation of LNG plants.
